Has any one had any success keeping a pearl gourami and a dwarf gourami in the same tank. I have a 36g bow front. I already have the dwarf, he's still pretty young not even full grown. I love to get a pearl to throw in there I just don't want there to be any throw downs.
Can I keep a pearl gourami in a 36g bow with glowlight, cardinals, corys , gbr, red eyes tetras?

No I haven't seen any scratching. They have been in the tank for a couple of months now. I did put in 6 glowlight tetras two weeks ago. Another cardinal tetra looks like hes got one starting in the same place. It looks more like a pimple starting under the skin and coming to a head rather than...
Updated shot of my 36g now that it's fully planted and all the fake stuff is gone. And the new light fixture.

I just got my new Current USA Satellite Freshwater Aquarium LED Plus Light in today. I'm looking for input from whoever has one as to what are the best settings/spectrums for things like plant health, fish color, favorite settings, etc.

I just purchased the Current USA Satellite Freshwater LED Plus Light. Does anyone know what setting I should leave it on during the day that would be best for the plants?

This morning I had another Cory do something similar. This it was a different species than the first. It wasn't as bad though, he went belly up in the corner for about 5 minutes. He never stopped breathing this time. He did a little wiggle and got back right side up and just stayed there for a...
Two nights ago when I got home, everyone in the community was swimming along fine acting normal. Later that night one of my cory cats seemed to have lost his mind. He would dart as if he couldn't see anything in front of him. In between dart he would just go limp and sink turning on his side or...
I'v finally switched out all of my artificial plants for live. They are all low maintenance low tech plants, and as I usually do being the impatient person that I am, because I get a little excited bought a color max bulb to make my fish look better. And it did the cardinals and by GBR look...
why do my red eye's always hide. They will come out most of the time to feed but then it's back in the corner behind the plants I hardly ever see them. Is 6 not enough?
I have 6 corys 2 different species (3 each). They often school together, its pretty cool to watch. The do however separate to their own species from time to time. I think your ok having the different species I would just try to get about 3 of each.
After some remodeling in the 36 bow. swapped some fish added fish and driftwood. Now just have to swap out the fake plants on the left for real ones.
6 red eye tetras
7 cardinal tetras
6 coys
1dwarf gourami
1 German blue ram
