Return tubing with white residue

Anyone know what this stuff is? There's a good amount of it in my tubing that connects my rio pump to the return nozzle. I got the tubing from FostersSmith... and use RO water got changes...

Stay away!!! Petco generic salt mix is horrible! It does not mix well, just use instant ocean.

If you're talking about gravel, put it in a pillowcase and keep it in a bucket of water. If you're talking about base rock, just rinse it off and then put it in a water bucket for 24 hours.

How much are you feeding?? I remember when I first started I cut down on feeding to every other day and it solved my nitrate problem.

That looks nice... Can you send a pic of the returns on your overflow box? Also, do you have a standpipe in your box?

Indeed marineland LED are not good enough...even the ones that are reef capable. Tao LEDs are really good lights..
