New Pics Of My 90 Gallon Goldfish

He is actually a bit scuffed up, but healing. He got himself caught inside the shell. I had to add a piece of poret foam so he stops going in it. I placed him in qt for a week with triple sulfa just to make sure his fin and tail tears would not cause a secondary bacterial infection.

    Dragonets

Please do not attempt to keep any dragonets in this tank. It is way too small. I had issue in an established 75 gallon keeping enough pods for dragonets. I was adding them every few weeks at $20. a pop. Dragonets are constantly grazing for them, and other creatures and fish deplete the supply.

    What wrong with my fish

You need to reduce those nitrites to below 1. Do another 50% water change today and monitor close. What is your ammonia reading? PH?

List of cold water, low light plants for very small nano tank?

I would venture a guess that there are other tough skinned plants out there that would also do well. You might even try valisneria and some of the smaller cryptocorynes like c.lucens, c. parva, c.wendtii{green gecko}, c. lutea, and c. wilisii.

There are a lot of anubias. Anubias petite, coffeefolia, white, and stardust are my favorite for nanos. Some like barteri barteri get huge.

List of cold water, low light plants for very small nano tank?

As far as I know the best cool water plants for an aquarium are lotus and anubias. That's a pretty far swing though, from winter to summer. Curious why you just don't run a heater a little bit in the winter? I do not use a heater in my 90 gal throughout most of the year. But I do not let it go...

New Pics Of My 90 Gallon Goldfish

Funny you mention Poret foam! It was recently suggested to me. So I removed the media I was using in the sump-Eheim media in mesh bags, and restarted with two large custom pieces of Poret foam. I really love it so far. It looks as though it will keep the sump much cleaner. The bags just got...
