I recently acquired a beautiful "thunderbolt" pattern crayfish after much deliberation. I couldn't be happier with it, the only problem is that it is of course nocturnal. I was wondering if leaving my lights on "moonlight mode" a dim blue hue during the afternoon and night and on full spectrum...
Ammonia is back to zero, fish looks less bulgy at times but still noticeable. Fish with fungal disease dies, rest appear to be fine.

The fungus I have no idea on specifics, white slime was eating at the head of a fish, shop owner said it was a mouth fungus

They tested for nitrates etc but didn't give me specifics except on ammonia which she said can rise on adding more fish (family bought me a dozen walmart fish, ugh but what can you do.)

Ph is lower, 6.~ last I checked, havent updated profile in a bit. Been running over a month now with fish in, nearly two. Feed a little before and after work. Api master test kit is what they used at the store where I brought it to be tested. I have no space for a quarantine tank, and I dont...
Ive had this fish for a week in which its stomach has swollen enormously, is it pregnant or could this be some sort of disease? The water is green because I am treating for fungus because yet again I got a new fish at a local shop and it became noticably infected immediately after adding it to...
My replacement water is mostly RO water, which I treat, and some well water to fill in the edges, also lightly treated. Ive only been letting it sit an hour or so.

I have a 45 gallon tank and only five "big" fish. Small group of white clouds. Other fish seem fine. Under four means approximately 2 or so, I dont distinguish colors well.

Treated with prime every water change, water changes every day, 20% is about as much as I can do. Added api fungal cure today.

Better picture, the tank has been set up for three weeks with fish. Last I had it checked yesterday ammonia was under 4ppm, I just did a 20% water change last night.

I recently set up a 45 gallon bowfront and have been trying a fish in cycle, changing about ten gallons a day. My test results will be pictured here. I was wondering if anyone could help me interpret them.

The fish shop wanted me to bring down my ph, there wasn't anything planned so much for stocking except the crayfish and some things that can flit around ab9ve it and not get caught, those cloud m8nnows would be fine I think, but they are currently very small. Should I add more because 9f their...
Ive been fighting a losing battle with ph with my 45 gallon tank and come to the conclusion my water was too hard to do anything much to. Ive successfully lowered it from 8.2 to around 7.6 by swapping RO water for my hard well water. I figure if I add a high ratio of RO water to well water...
