Yeah I have a rena external filter. The big one. Works fine and I clean it every 3-5 weeks. I think I'll get a cheapo powehead tomorrow just to move the water and add some O2.

I used a python. 25% gets me down to the top of the heater and thats as low as I dare go. Dechlorinator was not used. I never thought it would be a problem with such a small water change. Guess I have learned otherwise!

Just found some eggs in my tank today I have no idea which fish layed them but I think the blue one with vertical stripes did since it has been burrowing lately. Blue blob in the first pic is the eggs. I need to learn some photography techniques! :roll:

No but I talked to the Fish store owner and he described to growth exactly as it was. Told me it would die off and be ok shortly. I'm cool now. Thanks.
