Are Bristlenose and Bushynose Plecos the same thing? I got what should be a longfin albino Bristlenose pleco today and I just want to make sure that it is in fact one that will stay small. Are the BN the only ones that come in the longfin variety?

Would a 40 gallon be the minimum for an adult angel then? If I don't put an angelfish in the 29 do you have any other suggestions? Maybe a couple gouramis?

Yeah, if he is stinky he is definitely dead, a dead snail smells awful. Also, if he is not dead, you should not be able to open his door. I always hate trying to determine if snails are dead. I would hate to get rid of the poor things if they are still alive.

If your Betta is like mine, the shrimp are likely to be killed. I would go with a Nerite Snail.

What are the more peaceful shrimp? I had a whisker shrimp I had to get rid of once because he kept going after my fish. All the ghost shrimp I have had have gotten eaten by my fish. I am going to get Guppies soon and I want shrimp with them, but I had never heard of ghost shrimp being aggressive.

I would never eat a companion animal such as a cat or dog, for me this also includes horses and rabbits. Ever since having a rabbit as a pet I will not eat them. I also have a problem with people hunting predators. I guess you could call me a flexitarian.
