coconuts are wonderful little territories for my rams...i have two coconuts with java moss growing on them at opposite sides of the tank and the rams just stay there staring at each other, wonderful! lol

i was wondering if anybody has any tips on how to hatch brine shrimp..
ive tried several times without anything hatching! :(
i have tried in a plastic bottle, a plastic brine shrimp hatcher on the tank. still nothing so i dont know what im doing wrong really.
i do use an airpump to keep...
i put an airpump in my aquarium...i put it at the back with a 6 inch air stone...u cant see the stone and the bubbles really looks nice in the tank
it looks like a hassle starting all the diy when u canjust hook a little airstone up in seconds..
just my opinion though :D
best way to get fishy photos is to have a tripod...bellows possibly...no flash...low F number and a lot of patience! also i read once that when taking photos of fish you always take a photo of the left hand side of them, duno why though!

you should of went back with them and got a refund if they were dying on you before you got them home!
probably best not to put 8 fish in at once as well.

i have several guppies and 6 fry at the moment...
i bought a little birthing tank and when i found the guppy babies i scooped them up in there and 3 weeks down the line are flourishing...i just feed them fry food and now flake, daphinia etc...
i also have 1 thats in the the main tank...
i would remove the band...i done the same thing before...i was like 'a metal band...that would hurt little fish' so i took it off and the plants are doing wonderfull...
then i got told the metal band was to help weigh down the plant and save the roots from getting nipped by fish so i left metal...
i would recommend... clown loaches if u have space, theyre better than puffers in my experience at eating snails...you could try cucumber the snails love the stuff!! i also have kribs who eat all the snail eggs everywhere and hand pick some when u get the chance!
great fish!!! i have my rams in with guppy and guppy fry and everything ignores each other...the fry just stays in the plants and sneak out at feeding time lol. wonderful fish!

oh and 3 khuli loaches, always forget about them , never see them lol
