I have a single dwarf guarami in a 10g with some Danios. He chases them every now and then but has never seriously injured them. He did beat the snot out of a much slower molly, which I had to move to another tank.

I think my betta is about to kick the bucket. He is quite old but he's not doing too well with no obvious signs of disease. If I HAVE to replace him, what should I put? It's a 5g eclipse corner, with sand and lightly planted. 3-4 danios? mollies? Small gourami + something?

Hey everyone, I got my filter working again but now I have to wonder, in my 5g tank is it better to use no filter, to reduce the current? It's a built in biowheel eclipse so I have no way to set it to "low", just on and off. Please let me know what's best for the fish!

also the substrate is sand, do you think that could be the problem, that at some point sand got into and is clogging the impeller? However I did not have any such problem with my sand substrate tank at home.
