I bought both the double LED's and the Reef capable LED from Marineland... after only 4 1/2 months with the reef lights I came home to find the light really dim and touched the connection to the light from the adapter - it was SCREAMING HOT... actually had started melting the end of the light...
Paul - I still haven't been able to fond out what it is, but it is associated with stress for sure. I had always thought so, but couldnt be sure. I wish could figure it out, the problem is that when it happens he hides, or should I say she? And I cant catch it... I've got way too many inverts...
I think you hit it on the head, about price... it's all in what we'll pay for it that drives the price up. It's not what it's worth... it's what people will pay for it that puts a price tag on it.
So, if you say you'll pay 400.00 for one - guess what??? ;)
