That one looks promising. I noticed in reding the specs of it, and im sure its the same with others, you cannot place the filter near the water line. What if it is not possible to have the filter below the water line?

When you measure the length of a VHO bulb to you measure from the contacts or from the edge of the bulb? Reason for asking, i've acquired some bulbs that measure 45" from edge to edge and i can't find bulbs that lenght. Everything i see is 48" or 46" and i can't modify the hood to fit 48". TIA

I have a 15 gallon SW tank in my bedroom, i have a couple clowns, a shirmp, and an Urchin i keep in it. No problems here.

I use a power inverter for my power outages. I have a specific power strip that only has a couple essentials plugged into it... If the power goes out i just unplug that one strip and plug it into the power inverter. No problems as of yet. X
