    Panda Cories?

Panda cories are what seem to me the most social out of the cories. Mine are more active than the others, and usually at night I will find them playing leap frog in my tank. I think they're fun to watch because they're cute, and very playful. They're a good addition to any community tank because...

    Panda Cories?

I didn't really read all of this thread on the second page, but anyways: i have 7 different types in my tank. my panda's school with all of the others, but mostly my bandit cory and my skunk cory, because they have similiar markings, even though my bandit cory and my skunk cory are bigger...

    Breeding Cory's

I have my tank about 12 feet from my window. The room its in is a "sunroom" so there are many windows. I haven't seen an effect on their breeding from this. I thought it would make a difference, but apparently not. The comb idea is amazing. I would never have thought of something that...

    Panda Cories?

I had almost the exact same set up, with a ten gallon tank. I had 4 Panda's and a few platies. In total, I've had 3 baby platies, which are all grown up now. and i only have one of their parents left. Now that I've upgraded and gotten more catfish, the panda's are less skittish. they tend to...

    Breeding Cory's

I use River Rock Gravel from petco, the medium size. It has no sharp edges and my cories can easily dig for food in it because of its size. I've thought of switching to sand for some time. I was concerned how you would syphon out food particles though? I've heard of an option of like, getting a...

    Breeding Cory's

I also read that it's wise to add the cold water when a storm front is moving in, and they'll sense the atmospheric pressure and that would be another trigger for them. That was my method last night because it was "supposed" to rain this morning here but it never did. Thanks for the advice...

    Breeding Cory's

I've always added water that was within 2 degrees to the tank water, so I never realized I could have had little cories sooner if i hadn't really heated my water much. I noticed last night when I added cooler water that they enjoyed it, but months ago I never thought that it would make them...

    Breeding Cory's

I did try last night to make them spawn. My tank was at 78 degrees, and I did maybe a 5% water change, and the temp dropped down to 74. Unsuccessful. I have my old 10 gallon tank with filter in place next to my 30 gallon still, so i'm thinking it would be wise to set that up with water again...

    Breeding Cory's

I have 10 Cory's in a 30 gallon tank. I have 4 Panda's, One skunk Cory, One Schultz's Cory, One Pepper, One Julii, One Bandit Cory, and One Elegan's Cory. I've wanted the Panda's to breed for a long time, but i've never tried to get it to happen. I've done some research, about putting cold water...

    Cory Cat Fry?

Unknown Fish Baby I found a funny looking fry in my tank about.... 1 month and a half ago? I just released it into my tank along with three platy fry. The thing is, I have NO idea what kind of baby this is. It's not a platy, because I removed them before it was born. I found eggs stuck to my...

    White spot on Corydora fin

I have a similiar spot on one of my two Julii cory cats. Its on his nose and it seems to have gotten slightly bigger. If i were relating it to a human, it basically looks like a white head. I'm not sure what to do about it.... It hasn't affected his attitude at all. He just does his normal thing...

    Feeding Cory's veggies?

So, to start off, my tank is too small for a pleco. But i was wondering if i could get my Cory's (i have 7) to eat vegetables like cucumbers or zucchinis. I read about Otto's eating vegetables sooo... i'm wondering if Cory's would eat them as well. Thnx :)
