Pros: it works, nice design
Cons: none so far

need a heater and since i had an aqueon kit i thought i might as well use an aqueon product
the LED light is on and off and my tropical fish all seem happy so im assuming it works
my digital thermometer that came with the kit isnt very accurate so i do not know about the accuracy but based on the quality of the other products in the kit and how it matches their description so far im hoping it is as accurate as they claim to be

Pros: works once you get the right temp set
Cons: way way way inaccurate

I got a 100W heater with a 29G kit I purchased. I left the heater at its preset 78F, but soon my tank was over 86F. I lost a fish that I was using to cycle (just a goldfish, but still). I am currently using this heater, turned all the way down to 68F, which keeps the tank pretty constant at 80F, which is perfect for my fish. I'm constantly checking the thermometer though, because I feel like I can't trust the heaters thermostat.
