Pros: Quiet, moves lots of water, easy to use, ability to choose media
Cons: not available everywhere and getting replacement parts is a PITA

I have used this product with an 80 gallon for one year so far. It has been reliable and quiet. All the media baskets are filled with ceramic pieces and I have never had a problem with water quality or surface agitation.
It would be a better product if it had handles and if replacement parts were more readily available. The casing cracked during our two day move in VERY cold weather (totally my fiancé’s fault ) and it took some searching on-line to find a new case.

Pros: Silent opperation, good water output.
Cons: none

I have 8 of these on various size fresh water tanks, from 2x2x2's (single) to 8x2x2ft (i have 3 on this one). I was fortunate enough to get them for trade price, about au$130.
The Via Aqua has changed its name but not its product, it's now known in Australia as the Aqua One CF1200. same flow rates, attachments and media.
