    ok I got my tests done and my ammonia is at .25 while nitrite is 0 and nitrate is 0 so im guessing that its not cycled

    but one fish is still alive and I do have some algae growing and I have some plants in there as well which I heard causes a "silent cycle"?

    what I did was I got it all set up had the water in it with the filters on and I ghost feed it for a week. then I tested the water and it was zero everything so I got three fish and they died (obviously) the next day. so I left them in for a week so it would produce some stuff.
