Here is a pic of the setup so far:
First stand they had was scratched up on the side. We didn't catch it till we got home so we wasted another 2 hours to get it exchanged.

Yea I was looking at either Fluval or Eheim. From reading past threads and other forums, Eheim seems to have more problems. I went ahead and ordered a Fluval 406 on Amazon.

Like title says, how can I cycle my new 75G tank with media from my 29G tank? Will it be an instant cycle? Can I swap out fish right away?

Now that I have the tank and stand figured out, need to pick out a filter and heater. Any ideas, anyone? I know I definitely need to go the canister route. As for heater, should I run one 300w or 2 lower power ones?

So you have this Aqueon ensemble? Well for now the wife is ok with buying this, for now. We're supposed to go and pick it up tomorrow. She's scouring craigslist for a better deal lol.

Caleb, I think I found what you bought. Aqueon 75G ensemble for $400. Now to convince the wife to let me buy it, wish me luck lol

I'm looking at either mbuna, discus or a few schools of community fish in the 5-6" in range. Ignore the fact that this thread is in the planted tank sub-forum, I've requested to have it moved to "Getting Started". I know mbuna don't do well with plants lol.

I rechecked the dimensions of the 60G Heartland and its 48.5" x 12.75" x 25", essentially making it a 60 Tall, not a standard 60G, so you're right, I'm most likely going to get a 75G, 95% chance lol
Gonna have to check some nearby LFS's after I get home tonight. Hopefully I can find a great deal on both tank and stand.
