    Cycling question????

    I'm about to set up my first saltwater tank. I only have the tank now and I'm researching as much as possible. Can I just put a shrimp in a mesh bag and leave it there for a month without testing? Then test it and see if it's done cycling? If it's not I can wait and re test. Sorry if this is long
