    Canister filter question

    Hey I'm looking to get a canister filter for a 125 gallon. I was just wondering what you guys thought the best bio and mechanical filter material are? I've heard nylon pot scrubbers are a cheap bio material. Any thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    How many times do your filters turn over water? (gph)

    I have a 55 G African cichlid tank with mbuna and peacocks. I currently have 2 HOB filters that turn over the water more than 10 times per hour (600 GPH). I was just wondering if this was over kill? and I was wondering how many GPH other people run?
