I have some brown clove polyp coral taking over the center of my tank...Any suggestions of how to remove it...I try to grab it and no luck shrinks up to fast...Its on a big rock with several other corals...
I bought a Flame angel and a cleaner shrimp(shrimp doing fine) yesterday from Coral Connection(lfs). I floated bags in tank for 30 mins. and then did drips for 1 hour till original water was doubled. Last night it was barely swimming hideing behind a rock.This morning is laying flat on its side...
Wow freshwater seems easy compared to my saltwater. Hope to fill it up tonight and start the cycle...I have it soaking in vinagar and water to give it a cleaning..

Ok how long does a cycle take in freshwater...It took over a month in saltwater...And can I add a raw shrimp like saltwater to start the cycle..
Also I can use my same ro/di unit I use for my saltwater tank..
So if I don't do real plants then all I need is tank, sand, fake plant/structures, test kits,basic lighting
What about flow or bubles what would I need for that?

My tank is being invaded by Spaghetti Worms. Anyway to get ridd of some of them they are multiplying fast...They are all over my sand rocks and even on powerheads and skimmer.
Making my sand and rocks look nasty....
Im thinking of setting up a clown only tank say a 20 gallon with 2 sets of clowns,1 cleaner shrimp ,2-4 snails,1 emerald, one peperment shrimp,and several coral frags from my 55.
Is it Safe to have more then one set of clows in a small tank?
