They are doing better in the quarantine tank so I'll leave them there with medication for a week. If they look better after that I will bring them back into the main tank

The shimmying is basically they go to the bottom of the tank and wiggle about an inch off the gravel. The only addition I had done was co2 just from a yeast bottle and air stone but shut that off when they started acting funny.

I'm currently using just black gravel and mine is doing pretty well. I was looking at Caribsea Flora Max Planted Aquarium Substrate which comes in black. Maybe that would work better.

I have moved them to quarantine since when I got home yesterday they were both laying on the bottom of the tank. I thought they were dead. Not sure if it is Molly disease or something else.

My mollies have started acting a bit strange. I've only had them for a few weeks so I guess I don't truly know their habits so I could just be worrying about nothing but I thought I would ask.
First thing I noticed is the all orange one would chase the orange and white one away while food...
I started with a sketch and then built the base from styrofoam. I personally used hot glue to hold the pieces together.
Once I had the base built I started with a cement slurry mix to cover the styrofoam.
After that dried and I applied a few more coats and didn't like how it was acting...
I painted mine black and built a 3d rock structure as well. I didn't want it to go edge to edge but I did want to hide my heater, filter and bubble bar. I think it turned out pretty cool.

I've been thinking of adding shrimp to my tank but I have a shellfish allergy. Has anyone in my situation ever had any experience doing this?
