    Fish Selection

    I would hold off on the banded coral shrimp. Those are know to be aggressive towards other shrimp and might bother the Scarlet Skunk and the blood red fire shrimp. You could also thrown a couple of Peppermint shrimp in there too. Others might want to weigh in.

    Purple Up?

    The coralline growth should cover your rocks over time as long as your water parameters all check out alright. You can try the purple up product, but as everyone always says on this board, make sure you test for whatever you add to your tank. I have had good success with purple up.

    Where to buy fish

    I've been happy with both liveaquaria.com and saltwaterfish.com. Fish from both online stores have been healthy and acclimated well. Both have great customer service, but saltwaterfish.com takes a little longer to respond to questions. Hope this helps.

    Frozen Fish Food Question

    Hi, I accidentally left my frozen fish food out and it has completely thawed overnight, but still cool to the touch (not room temp). So, is it safe to refreeze it and feed it to my fish or is it ruined and should I throw it out? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Brandon
