Does anyone have one of these fish, If so how difficult are they? And if you could give me some insight on how they do now in the home aquarium as of this era, because everything I've been reading on them is old stuff.

    Ich in my saltwater tank

I know that it will be in my system but I'm not worried about, when you have depleted water conditions that will bring stress in your tank will cause fish to become sick due to a ammune system malfunction, that's why I said my water is pristine. My fish are happy and they eat well. I have a...

It won't raise it by much if used right, my power head is pointed toward the surface and my ph dropped and alkalinity did to, the fluval put everything dead on and made my water crystal clear.

    Ich in my saltwater tank

I have medicines for parasites if everything else fails. Kordon ick attack. Got it from Pet store for 15.99, it works but you'll have to dose the QT tank for 3 weeks or more.

    Ich in my saltwater tank

No, you don't have to break the whole system down if you catch it early. ick has to fall off of the host and be in the free floating stage to infest a tank. When I see one or two spots it's time to remove the fish.Plus my system is pristine, So I'm not worried about it coming back.

There could be contamination, Can never be sure but you can always be safe.No I don't use carbon, I'm running 2 penguin bio filters,a protein skimmer, a powerhead, and a 150 watt heater. Fluval makes this stuff called fluval sea alkalinity raises Ph to where it's supposed to be and maintains it.

You really don't need all of the expensive equipment if your money is funny, All you need is a power head for good current, a hang on the back filter, and a protein skimmer and you're good to go. I've read on different forums that these people go and buy all of this fancy equipment and end up...

Are you using R/O water or tap water?, Because if you're using tap this could be your problem.Try Kordons amquel water conditioner and see if that works for you and use R/O water only.
