Free: Locals to Lakeland FL - African Water Fern

I'll message you some details when I get home tonight. Basically 5 clubs in FL came together to put on a swap meet. And it's in 3 weeks not 2. I miscalculated.

    Brooksters fish cave, yup...

Yeah once they get started they tend to not want to stop. I've found introducing larger fish to the aquarium will put a hold on it. Yes I'm bad. I've got kribs and angels and rainbows in the same tank. Along with Honduran red spots and ruby greens. So far everyone is getting along but the...

What Did You do With Your Tank Today?

Grant has been a hobbyist for some time now. A big chunk of what he sells is his own stock. He gave up his day job in December to do shrimp full time after cleaning house at the shrimp and scape competitions in Chicago. Look him up on facebook and you can talk to him in the various shrimp and...

    Brooksters fish cave, yup...

LoL I've got a few kribs. I picked them up on a whim, and I've come to like them quite a bit. Nobody really wants to buy them till they see them colored up as adults. Right now I've got 8 ladies and 3 boys in my tank. They're pretty! The picture is two months ago when they were just starting...

    Breeding cory cats

Note... I say straight cold water. Here in FL that's about 72 degrees. I usually keep their tank 76ish. So a drop but not a huge one.

    Breeding cory cats

Cories love their worms. I was feeding live blood worms but I found I was getting lots of parasites out of them. Frozen does the trick. After stuffing the worms for a week do a huge water change with straight cold water. Of they're going to spawn it will happen then. I've got 9 pepper cory...

What Did You do With Your Tank Today?

You'll know pretty quickly if you're going to have an issue. Took mine 45 min to hunt and take out 10 neons.

What Did You do With Your Tank Today?

Ordering 150 lbs at a time only gets our price down to just over 3$ a lb here in FL. (I know this guy :D)

What Did You do With Your Tank Today?

Dude... Your profile says you're in SoCal in the middle of paintball season. Find a field near you. Probably cheaper per fill there anyway. Sunday is practice day usually for any teams that stuck together after nationals in October. So if you go early expect rapid fire. Speedballers are a...

What Did You do With Your Tank Today?

    Betta suffocating?

Not to mention add surface area for more BB growth.

    Betta suffocating?

Likely. Sad fact is a lot of the Betta you see in big boxes are a year old or close to it. If they've lived in a cup that long it shortens their life considerably.

Peppered cory with white mark on head

That will do two things, give him somewhere to hide, and help with nitrates.

Peppered cory with white mark on head

Yeah he needs a hiding place or two. No where for him to get out of sight and relax. And anytime.

    Betta suffocating?

The problem with getting betta from the store is that cup they keep them in. We bring them home and give them a massive tank to swim in and they're like WOW?!?!?! WTF is this? Give him time. If he's taking breaths from the surface he's not going to suffocate. Heck I've got a veiltail that...
