Can someone suggest a decent battery-powered vacuum?

Is it okay to put cubes of frozen food directly into the tank, or is there a better way to feed this food?

Perhaps you could exchange the dwarf gourami and get a few pygmy (sparkling) gouramis instead?

I'm all set now . . . . 6 each of pygmy corys and espie rasboras and 4 each of kuhli loaches and sparkling gouramis.

I have a 20H freshwater tank with a sand substrate and all artificial plants. I have an Eheim 250 canister filter with the Eheim prefilter attached to the intake. This prefilter seems to slow down the flow through the canister such that the return flow is quite gentle (which I don't mind)...

But are the powerheads okay if the tank has bottom fish such as pygmy corys and kuhli loaches?

You can definitely leave the blue light on the entire time that the white light is off. It is merely to recreate moonlight.

I have the Eheim Classic 2213 (250) canister filter. I have a 20H aquarium with mostly very small fish. Can someone please recommend a site from which I can purchase the appropriate sized intake and outflow Lily Pipes that would work well (and not suck up) small fish? Thanks in advance!!

TMaier - I heard that about HOB filters, but not canisters. The motor is on the far side of the media so the sand would never get to the motor.
