messed around with it a little and got it working

it is setup at my girlfriends so when i go back over there tonight for dinner i am gonna do some tests with the motor and impeller and see whats up but i did try to feel the motor housing when i had it pluged in and didnt feel anything

Didnt know if anyone had a extra laying around i could buy off em/trade ... i have the biggest aqua clear filter and somehow lost the intake tube ... need the whole part that plugs into impeller part and has a U shape down to where it sucks in the water. TIA

Got a Emperor 280 off of a deal through craigslist with my new tank and when i plug it in nothing happens ... doesnt even make a noise. Anyone have a clue what could be wrong with it? .... outlet i used it on does work.

Ah yes it always does. I did some sanding on the stand and put some primer on it and getting it ready to paint tomorrow and i will be painting a black background on the tank as well, looking to hopefully get it setup today before my gf gets home from work but im a little limited as i just had...

Ok so I run a Fluval 104 cannister filter on my 29gal mostly for flow but right now i am really not liking the output nozzle on the thing cause it shoots sort of upward and i dont really have much control over where it goes ..... i was wondering if there are some sort of different attachments...

How could you :( ..... glad to hear most of ur other fish are doing well .... i would also try to stay away from using any medication in ur tank if you can ... only use it as a last resort .... i prefer the more natural methods :) ... later bud Ray

Well im glad my corals arnt showing it first and no i havnt done a TDS test on my tap and that will be obsolete in 2 days anyway since im getting the RO/DI .... and the fish that were in there when my SG was a little high is my clown that was killed by my decorative spider crab which i got rid...

My tank is around 5 months old .... was fishless cycled with die off from my 45lbs of live rock because it was uncured ..... my parameters are 0 ammonia and trites, about 10 trates, between 8-8.2 PH, and 1.025 SG ...... my filtration is the 45lbs of LR ... a CSS 65 skimmer and a fluval cannister...
