    Positioning of HOB Filter

I was thinking of buying some rubber tubing (same used with the Python vac) and sticking it on over where the intake tube goes and moving the tube that acually pulls the water (where like my 20 snails like to gather and have to knock em off) to the end of that tube (hope yal can understand that :D).

    Positioning of HOB Filter

I have an AquaClear filter, there pretty nice, but the intake tube that came with it is only like about 6 inches in length and i have a 29g tank, so its about a good foot and a half away from the bottom. Is there some extensions that stores sell for the intake tube or whats the best way to rig...

    Positioning of HOB Filter

I was wondering does the position on the tank (mainly the back) and the placement of the intake tube effect performance. Too many snails!! How do I get rid of them?

From what I heard, Clown Loaches eat snail eggs and baby snails. I have a couple in my tank at the moment but they are not big enough to eat the snails I have yet.

    Upgrading Pump, cloudy water.

Thanks for the replies. I think my grandmother is going to get all the guppies sometime this week, so that would elimiatate them. Whenever I find room, I do plan on getting a 55g tank (not a kit, might actually save money in the long run), just at the moment no where to put it. Also the water...

    Upgrading Pump, cloudy water.

I currently have a 29g tank for about 3 months now (bought it as a kit - mistake?? hehe) anyways, I noticed the heater is only 100watts (upgrading that soon), and the pump that came with it Aqua-Tech 20-40 Gallon works okay. However, I have a bit of a cloudy water problem (might because tank is...
