Yep, I also agree with this recommendation [emoji106] I'd up the celestial pearl danios to at least 8 and get 6 Pygmy corys. I prefer habrosus Corys to Pygmys though- Habrosus is just a different type of dwarf corydora.

Interesting question, I really don't know.. I've never thought about plant preferences surrounding water parameters. I've seen quite a few aquascape journals (many of which include dwarf hairgrass) and no ones ever mentioned adjusting the pH or temp in the interests of a particular plant...
