thanks, guys....the tank has been running for about 4 mos now and i haven't had an algae issue, which i was aware could happen on a sunny day (without the canapy up), the tank gets a good 5-6 hrs of sunlight...maybe more thanks for the link, but i couldn't get to the article...help?:-)

will sunlight work as lighting for a tank?....i have a 40g tank that is sitting about 50% in front of window...i will be moving up to a 90g soon...then, about 2/3 of the tank will be in front of the window in may or the beginning of june a cananpy will be put up....at that point the sunlight...

mine are very active...also, it is normal for shrimp to molt right after they have transported......if you notice, there is usually a shell in the tank at the LFS, if the shrimp has been there for a couple of days....ot they will molt right away in their new home cleaners here are $35

my angel was offering himself to a hermit, decided he needed cleaners my blennie also gets cleaned....although, he doesn't seem to be fond of it.....he sits on top of the magnetic cleaner, way at the top of the tank.....they swim up there to clean him......it doesn't make him happy, he comes...
