Set back up as Bare Bottom reef

Two and a half months in.

A few weeks in.Doing one gallon water change twice a week.Nitrates staying at 10 or below.Flow all around rocks really make a difference.

Well will keep updating on how it progresses.

Started a 10 Gallon reef.Going the Bare Bottom route.Anyone else doing Nano Bare. Bottom?

Betta loves community Tank My Betta loves his community tank.

Betta will do fine as a community fish if the other fish are peaceful type.My Betta is in a 40 gallon with 6 neons,2 red eye tetras,2 blue dwarf gourami,and 2 dwarf honey gourami.No issues what so ever.

You could add additional water filtration and flow.I only do a 10% weekly water change on my 40 gallon planted tank.

You can keep a small reef,but as others stated you need to keep close eye on it .I would also say do a 50% water change weekly.Did 3 gallon for two years that way.https://youtu.be/mQGNQDpJNFE

You might want to just go with a filter sock on one side and the media basket on the other.

That is exactly like my Nuvo 40 gallon tank.It works great.Just make sure you a get the right size return pump.
