I just bought an acropora from my LFS and I found this snail thing in the bag with it before I put it in my tank. I was wonder if it was bad or not.

That's kind of the reason why I like live rock. It's a gamble. You can get something really cool or something that could mess up your tank or just a normal rock haha. I kind of want to do a really nice aquascaped freshwater tank but I can barely maintain the saltwater take I got now lol

I just found this guy in my tank today. I've had my tank for almost 10months and have never seen this guy till now. Crazy what pops up in your tank at random times. He must have hide in the live rock all this time. Anyways I was wondering what kind of crab this is? The name slips my mind.

Have you guys seen the new Coralife marine filter with a protein skimmer attached? I think it's a pretty neat,but wonder how effective it really is. What are your thoughts on it?

So a couple of weeks ago I picked up a couple of black ice clownfish. They are doing pretty well except they aren't really eating. I feed them New Life Spectrum pellets and one of the clowns nibbles and the other eats it then spits it out. Any suggestions on what type of food to feed them?

I have 2 ocellaris clown fish in my tank for about 5months. If I were to put 2 more in the tank like Wyoming whites or some other clownfish would they be aggressive towards them?

Yeah I think I really stressed it out, but lesson learned. As on now it looks to be alive but can't 100% tell. Are they the type that shouldn't touch the air at all when moving it from the bag to tank?

I hope it does but I'm sure it's under a ton of stress. It must of got caught in the current when it came out b/c I saw it swirling around in it. Then it went under the stress of me catching it and placing it in a safe spot. One can only hope the little guy survives.

So I just got a feather duster not knowing much about them, my mistake. I just thought they were filter feeders and I wouldn't have to do much. Well now my feather duster lost its feathers and is out of its tube. The worm is still moving around, but is it going to live?
