    Overstocking in a 10 gallon?

Interesting. I asked the same question on a Facebook group and almost all the answers I got were that it’s overstocking. Thank you for your input! Are Pygmy corys a good fish for stirring up and cleaning the substrate? I ask that because I know they like to swim higher in the water column...

    Overstocking in a 10 gallon?

I am wanting to get 1 betta, as many nano schooling fish(chili rasboras for example) as possible, and around 4-6 Pygmy corys. Would this be over stocking in a heavily planted 10 gallon?

Does anyone have a good step by step process from pouring in your substrate, to putting plants in to start your cycle? Is it as simple as substrate first, then hardscape, water, dechlorinate, add plants?

Coming back to the hobby after 4 years(questions)

Hey guys, after my life has settled down after having to get rid of my first aquarium, I’m thinking of starting back up finally. I can’t go as big as I had before(37G), due to apartment policy. My limit is 5 big ones. So my question is, how hard will it be for me to keep a 5 gallon planted...

I'm waiting to get my water tested and was just wondering how long you can keep a sample of aquarium water before anything dilutes? Or does anything even dilute?
