So I just added anacharis to my tank tonight. About an hour later I found a pond snail on my tank wall. How do I ensure I don't have any more? any advice will help.:ermm:

Have you identified the snails that arrived on your plants?

Ramshorns eat certain types of algae from what Ive researched. Are the ones you are referring to Nerite snails?

I've heard nerites are quite the escape artists so watch out.

I would say the catfish but if you catch the moly doing it then you know. You would probably need to rehome or take back. You can't train a fish to be nice. How big is the tank? What is the setup like? Pictures would be great.

Okay thank you guys. Someone suggested them and I thought it might be too overstocked. I was originally going for ghost shrimp but was advised to stay away because of their predatory nature. Is this true? I had some before and it seemed like everything was okay but I've had 15+ people advise...

I know I can use a sponge to cover my filter intake. But what kind and how do I go about doing this? Are there some already pre made to cover the intake?

One of my fish just suffered from dropsy as well. Unfortunately he did not make it. But he would not eat. Food would float right in front of him and he would just sit there.

What other fish are in your tank? What are your water parameters? How's the fish's behavior? Lethargic? Is it eating normally?
