    New Lighting help

    I have this light, and yes you can remove the brackets and lay it flat on the glass. I would recommend getting the timer that goes with it so that it can stay on light schedule weekends, and you will not have to worry about it getting left on.

    Cascade 200 overflow problem

    I purchased a cascade 200 filter and when I have it turned to "high" the water is too powerful to all flow through the filter media so it is flowing back out, some have said that you can stuff some more media down in there but that didn't seem to work either. I still have some water flowing...

    Post your full tank shot here.

    The new centerpiece of our livingroom This is our new addition, 30 gal with cichlids. My dog Kenzie is in awe over it and sits in the chair to watch them all day! She loves watching them as much as we do I guess!

    Hello from Kansas

    I found this forum when doing some research on setting up my tank and it has been such a big help! I have a 29 g community tank and a 40 g cichlid tank and just love getting lost in them ;-)
