    How many fish??

I understand I do not know much about fish keeping yet but i do know it is not large enough for a long term home. It is temporary until we move and build them a large, deep home.

    How many fish??

I believe the pond is about 2-2.5 feet. It isn't a deep pond so that's my concern for winter. It also is not in the ground.

    Goldfish fry

Mom is a black telescope. I believe the possible dad's are fantails. There a another telescope but he wasn't really involved in the chase and I don't think he's old enough. I also have another female but she hasn't laid eggs.

    Goldfish fry

All the eggs (minus 2 unfertilized ones) hatched yesterday! I believe I counted 15. They are so small it is hard to even see them! They seem to be doing well! More active today.

    Goldfish fry

I recently got some goldfish and have never dealt with breeding or fish eggs. I experimented and took some eggs out to see if I can hatch them. Turns out, I just seen one swimming! However, my question is, is it normal for them to get a spurt of energy and swim, then all of a sudden lay on the...

    Goldfish eggs...what do I do?

From what I've researched, I have 4 males and one female. And from the activity from the "males" and other "female", it seems true. I did have the eggs in their tank an hour or 2 before removing the rock they were on. So I'm thinking they had to of been fertilized with the odds of 4 males and...

    Goldfish eggs...what do I do?

My goldfish released some eggs about a week ago and the tank mates ate them all before they even hatched. However, she is laying eggs AGAIN! Since the eggs had no chance in the tank, I moved the rock they were on into a big bowl to give them at least a small chance of hatching. Do I need to add...
