Thanks ZigZag !!! The pup has grown 1/2" & readily accepts the shrimp. Even searches for it when I drop it inside basket. Here are some pics after feeding. I have a video. Can you upload videos on this site AA ?

Atelomycterus Marmoratus ( pup) Coral catshark pup will be 2wks tomorrow. Pup is eating well & started eating 4 days after hatching.. Shrimp is the choice of food.

Yes for now (1) have to get it eat & on a regular basis. (2) I have a snowflake eel that is 12"- 14" that probably would eat the pup at this size. Have nowhere to put the eel at this time.

The LFS didn't have any feeder shrimp. The pup will take it sometimes but spit it back out. Is this a good or bad sign. Thanks for the info or future info you may give me.

Thanks once again for the info & I'll just keep trying. Even though the pup hasn't eaten still looks healthy & active.

I've tried dangling food in front of it. It would take it sometimes but only spit it back out afterwards. I'm going to try when lights are off again tonight. Thanks for the advice though.

Coral catshark egg (Atelomycterus Marmoratus) The shark pup hatched early this morning about 3 sum. It's healthy but hasn't ate yet. Tried about 30 mins ago & didn't attempt to eat. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks AA community.:)

I haven't messed with it. It's hanging on the glass so I can see it grow & it grew pretty fast since the first day I got it. You can see from the last pic it is well formed & no yolk sac. What would be best for the shark.

Thanks for the info. Quick question I want to help it out the egg case it's been a week since the yolksac has been depleted. The bottom of the egg case has been opened by it but it has not come out. I'm thinking about taking it out tomorrow. What would you do?

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since last post on coral catshark egg. Yolksac is about the size of a dime now. You can't see it because he/she keeps it's tail wrapped around it. I can see it's pattern also. Can anyone with experience with them tell me how mannt more weeks I have left.

Tank has been up & running now for 6wks. Water parameters are in check. Did water change 20% also.

It's not ich no grain like spots. The fish has list alot of it's coloring. Top fin looks bad like it's disappearing.

No lights are on for 12hrs a day. I used caribsea aragonite sand and ocean direct caribsea live sand. Have noticed build up of green spot algae in the corners of my tank. Will be doing a pwc this weekend to lower nitrates.
