Yep, that is one of the things to look for if you want a marble. Sometimes the marble gene pops up randomly too

He looks like a marble betta, that means he will change color. It is normal

I already have a 29 gallon going, lol. My parents won't let me go larger any more. I am thinking of doing a low tech planted in the 10 gallon with ember tetra's and a school of neons in the 20 gallon long.

Newly cycled 29 gallon. It has 3 flame tetra's in it(will add more) and 5 Black skirt tetra's. It has a rosette sword, dwarf sag, crypt wendetti(sp) and anubias.

I figured out I can get good pictures of my flame tetra's with the flash if I focus on something else with the flash.
