    10 Gallon Tank Stocking

A trio of guppies and that amount of shrimp would work quite well in a 10 gallon. I believe that pygmy cories are too active for a 10, IMO. They would appreciate more room to run around. I'd leave the tank with just the guppies and shrimp, don't want to overcrowd it.

    20 long tankmates

After initially deciding we were going to get rid of my 20 long, we've decided to keep it going and add some new fish. We were going to let the remaining fish live out their lives and then trash the tank. Due to this, my stocking is a bit odd at the moment, with three Colombian tetras and a male...

    75 gal stocking suggestions

I think the best place to start would be more cherry barbs, it will like having some friends.

Need some opinions on the gender of my fish please

That gourami would be considered "powder blue" or "electric blue". The females are like, silver silver. There's no mistaking it. Lol

Need some opinions on the gender of my fish please

Both gouramis are male. Female dwarf gouramis are actually this really bland, silvery color. You won't find them often in stores because not many people would buy them. If a dwarf gourami is colorful, it's a male.

best name for a RTG AROWANA ?

Name him Roger. No explanation, just a good name.

    Denison barbs

I'd say no. They can get pretty big. 6 inches I think? (off the top of my head)

    Unhappy guppy

The boys might play nice but there's a decent chance that they attack each other as well. They can get quite mean.

    Unhappy guppy

Everything effects the bioload. Especially in a small tank like that, that's already overstocked.

    Unhappy guppy

I would not add shrimp. The bioload on that tank is already high and they will only add to it. The best clean up crew is you.

    Unhappy guppy

Sara up there is right. You always want more females than males. Males will constantly harass females. 2F/1M is what I generally see, but in some cases I might even do 3F/1M. Also, your tank is kind of small for three guppies. SHe really has no where to hide from them in a 2.5. I might...

Red Honey Gourami or Thick Lipped - Need Help!

Pretty sure those are thick lipped gourami. Basing it off the body and fin shape.

Bottom Dwellers for my 20G Long?

Bronze/albino cories would work. Can tolerate the temps that bettas like, hardy as heck. I'd go for 6 in a 20 long

    Identify this fish

I wouldn't put any of those fish in a 10, honestly. Depending on the pleco, it could get MASSIVE. Dwarf gouramis need more space then a 10 as well, IMO. Very active. Two males will kill each other

    Identify this fish

The dude in the back is a male dwarf gourami. The other guy is a tiger barb. Tiger barbs are schoolers, and can get pretty **** mean and nippy.

Help stocking a 10g betta community

Neon tetras and bettas are not temperature compatible. Bettas like it in the low 80's, neons like it in the mid 70's. Pygmy cories like it there as well, so neither would be suitable tankmates for a betta.

How to treat fin rot? (betta)

For fin rot, the best fix (IMO) is just clean, warm water. Bettas like it pretty warm, 78-82F. If you really wanted to you could also use some API Stress Coat, I found that it helped accelerate the healing process a bit.

    Filter type for Betta?!

I'd use just a cheap sponge filter for bettas, you want very minimal flow

    school size?

I tried two mid level schools in a 20, and it just looks like a disjointed mess. Colombian and glowlight tetras. I'd go with the pristellas and the cories. And if you only have the pristellas in the mid level, you could do more of them. Bigger schools always look better

    Stocking help

I did the two schools thing in a 20 long for a while with Colombian and glowlight tetras, and I honestly hated it. I love active, colorful fish but it's just WAY too hectic for my tastes, not relaxing to watch at all. I'd go with one bigger school (the fish will like it more anyway) and like, a...

Cichlid suggestions for tiger barb mates

First of all... Cichlids don't have to be in species only tanks all of the time. Some can do quite well in an appropriate community set up. I would probably aim for the firemouth from those options. They get bigger and would defend itself better than rams if the barbs decided to attack.

    New Community Tank Planning

Killifish like room temperature water (68-70) and bettas like it quite warm (80ish) so I would never keep them together. Guppies like it considerably cooler then bettas as well (mid 70's). I would strongly consider to make a new stocking plan. I also see that you're using the inch per gallon...

    20 long stocking ideas

Well, I'm not too disappointed over the rainbows anymore, because I've done a complete 180. After doing some research and talking to some friends and I'm set on a pair of keyholes, lol.
