    I have two thermometers for each side of the tank, this way I can check that the water temperature is equal. I'm looking for a longer probe, its six foot, I need ten foot.

    The piano came first, then I built the acrylic tank specifically for the aquarium, a L48" X H16" X D12" . The equipment came last, the aquarium, water, decorations, gravel and piano must weigh about 700-800 pounds. It's a beast.:)

    The covers are not the same, I wanted to utilize the strength of the top of the aquarium, the more material the top has, the stronger the tank. I talked to a engineer who gave me some advice. I fabricated covers for the top of the aquarium, this will prevent splashing.
