Ok...whew...so we're not the only ones who can't seem to make it work lol. I'll test the kH tonight with the other tests and see how it goes.

Yeah...we do have the kH/gH tests...we haven't quite figured out how it works. We watched Rachel O'Leary's (sp?) video and tried following along and testing his tank (the 29 gal) but it didn't work. The kH test seemed to work but after putting, like, 30-40 drips in the gH test with no reaction...

Thanks for the advice, Delapool. I have wrapped some aragonite and crushed coral in some pantyhose and it's in the filter. As for the gH, my boyfriend will be adding some gH booster when I do my next water change on Sunday. Thanks again!
