i got 6 gourmis and 4 tiger barbs. i am looking for some snails. any kind fresh or saltwater pest or not. pest are preferred. the fish are for pick up only. i am located in perry hall, maryland.

under-dosing is a great suggestion. The bottle says it will improve purple and pink algae and make it spread. Most like that look because it gives the effect of an aged tank. Has anyone had direct experience with this product?

concerning CaribSea Purple Up: Any thoughts on this product? does it work for you? what are the pros and cons?

just my imagination speaking but would it be possible to put like 5 fish in a 20 gallon then a barnacle to "filter" thier mess? (if five fish is too much just one or two trigger fish would do) once again this is just my imagination.

that is one of the most beautiful tanks i have ever seen. simply stunning.

you can use underwater epoxy. its cheap as hell at homedepot. but let me tell you i bought it and use it to hold 2 rocks together and sometimes i wish i did not becuase its nice being able to move it around and rearrange.

I know this will spark alot of controversy but some people have had modest success using compact florecent plant lights for their refuges.
