Finally after 3 weeks of panicking and water changes my tank is ich free. I used ich-x and did a 1/3 water change daily. I also turned the temp up to 87. A couple of fish did sadly pass though which is sad. But my ghost fish and all my platinum halfbeaks made it! So I’m glad I still have those fish!

Sometimes fish get picked on. They can only take it for so long until they eventually pass. I’m not sure this is the case but it’s possible. Doesn’t mean you did anything wrong it just happens sometimes.

You could leave it be and it will go down. But what I’ve done to “speed things up” is put gravel from a friends tank that’s is cycled and has lots of micro bacteria and put it in my tank. It seems so speed things up.

Honestly couldn’t say I just got him from petco 3 days ago and now one of my fish has ick. The ropefish died this morning. Petco must’ve given me a nasty sick fish and now the rest of my fish could be infected. I put super ick yesterday and it’s clearing up so everything is good.
