    Am I ready for Fish?

I do, it helps to reduce my ammonia and nitrites. i think that's why my ammonia has dropped so quickly :) next are my nitrites...i agree that i wouldn't want to chance cycling a tank with fish whether they are hardy or not. you just never know.

beginner getting clownfish... Bubble tip Anemone, or corals?

I think you are right about the percs not going near the replicas. one of my friends has percs and she says they never go near her replica lol i think what i am going to do instead is get a nicely shaped big piece of Live Rock and have that in the tank, and when i am ready i will get an anemone...

beginner getting clownfish... Bubble tip Anemone, or corals?

Well I am not in a rush to be adding anemones, but idealy I do not want to mix corals with anemones. I would most likely be getting only one anemone because i am not going to have a large tank for a while. but seeing as I am new to this i will probably stick with replicas of anemones until i...

beginner getting clownfish... Bubble tip Anemone, or corals?

Hi everyone, I just started cycling my FOWLR aquarium a week ago. I don't plan on adding any corals or anemone's for at least 6 months after my cycle is complete, but I am having a hard time deciding.... I want to get an Ocellaris Clownfish, and was reading into getting a Bubble tip anemone, but...

    Am I ready for Fish?

i added the peppermint shrimp to help with the cycle, but i do plan on taking the shirmp back tomorrow as the spikes would end up killing him... sorry folks, forgot about that part hehe as for the raw shrimp, does it have to be straight from the gorcery store? or can it be frozen? just wondering...

New to the forum, new to the saltwater scene

well he seems to be doing just fine, very active in his new home. i am just as worried about his well being as everyone else here, so if i see that he's not doing well i will take him back to the aquarium store. but can anyone tell me if there are any special requirements for the live rock?

    Am I ready for Fish?

i also just set up my sw tank and it's been 6 days. my readings are the same as yours. if you add fish they will surely die as your cycle is not yet complete. i was told to add a raw shrimp and that should kick start your cycle. we both have yet to experience our ammonia, nitrite and then...

New to the forum, new to the saltwater scene

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I just started cycling my first Saltwater fish-only aquarium. I did all my research, and everything seems to be going smoothly so far, all except for my ammonia. although it is low (0.4), i still want to get rid of it. everything else is sitting at zero (nitrite...
