Mine has randomly leaked 3 times.
Not sure why.
I bought and replaced all of the seals.
I think I might have had a bit of pressure on the hose, it was pushing on the quick change assembly.
I was looking for a prebuilt unit. There are many options for this type of tank.
But most of the "brighter" ones are 15" wide.
These include PC/T5 and MH
The ones that will fit within the 12" are only PC or T5
4 bulb units. I am not sure if this would be enough light
I was thinking an...

I was planning on putting this in my 30gal aquarium (sump) for 120gal

Or should I have the valve after the unit, to keep the...

Is there anything else in the refuge that I should have...

Is it generally ok to use this water in the SW tank?
Or should I start with all new water?
Great link! I need to read all of it.
I have already started looking for an overflow.
There are styles and many brands to choose from.
I have been trying to search and see what people like. But they are all about the same. I guess I want one with a U tube
Nothing is plumbed yet...
I can move things around without a problem.
How do I maintain the lower flow rate in the refuge?
I plan on using it for seaweed and stuff. I have seen this in someone else's tank. Supposed to help out the tank
I have already found and looking into the overflow box...
I have been reading about setting up the sump tank, but I am still a bit confused.
I plan on using a plain glass tank for my sump - no dividers.
I suppose I should maintain the water level in the sump to prevent any overflows.
If my retun pump fails, I should set my upper syphon level to suck...
I have all this used stuff.. I am trying to figure it out.
Large skimmer sits in the bottom tank
Large skimmer has 250g/h pump near the bottom
The pump has an air inlet for a bubbler
This sucks water from sump tank into the skimmer
I understand how and why on this set up.
I have another 740g/h...

I plan on buiding a wooden hood with internal lights.
