I was told at the LFS that there are often starfish eggs in the live sand bags . You start seeing the stars months after setting up the tank.

I got a crazy idea last night. With magnetic pumps like Koralia---it would be possible to attach small powerheads off the top glass, or even the support bracket. The cords could be attached to the inside or outside of the support bracket. On the outside they would be exposed to the lighting...

thanks for reply..... 1)How do you transplant a computer fan into a factory made Light Fixture? 2) Just talking about the actual gear here---is it OK to run the lights W/O the fan? In other words, can the fixture get hot without any danger to itself?
