    I don't know. All the gouramis I have get along fine. I've had 5 in a 40 gallon before. Maybe I'm just lucky :) Definitely more zebra danios.

    I'd be careful with shrimp and gouramis. They kinda have a reputation with eating them as a snack :) Mollies tend to breed like crazy. Also dalmatian mollies don't stay white and black most of the time. I have before and after pictures of my dalmatian who used to be white and turned solid black...

    How is your platy now? Any better? You may have to get a separate tank for the males. all that chasing will most likely kill her. too much stress. or get 7 females and that's kind of ridiculous. You could always rehome her. all options :)

    It might be she doesn't like the conditions. does she have any tank mates such as livebearers? I've found that they are very social or she may just change fins if she was young when you got her.

    He thinks they are mollies. They will be fine. If you want some fry from those girls, get some live plants for them to hide in. I have dragon rock that my newborn fry hide in for the first week. Java fern is good. Anubias is also a good option.
