    Position of Heater

I have it at an angle in my filter flow, so the warm water flows around the tank. I don't think that all of your tank would be heated if you just laid it on the substrate.

    Halo 3

Plants will arrive tommorow and i have no light!

Rkilling, the third prong in a Uk plug is the earth wire. This is a fail safe for whenever something goes wrong. The electricity travels into the ground, not into a person or the appliance again. So, three prong plugs are safer than the ones americans and european people use . Also, 7Enigma is...

Transporting Fish from store to tank

I'd always thought that they could stay in the bag for longer than 30 minutes. When I introduce my fish to the tank I leave them in the bag for 30 minutes just to equalise the temps.

Andy, which shop did you visit? I also live in Southend. I didn't know a shop that sells Saltwater fish. They're strange but quite pretty really. I like your older one more.

    Air Pumps

Thanks everyone, I think that I'm going to keep the pump, as my fish like playing in the bubbles! I'll take it out if I ever get CO2 Thanks again Shubunkin01

    Air Pumps

I've been reading a lot about CO2 lately, and know that surface agitation will lower the CO2 levels. In my small planted tank, should I have an air pump? I don't have any CO2, not even DIY, so would I get algae or stunted plant growth if I have the pump on 24/7? Would the fish still be able to...
