Thanks, The tank sat empty for a couple of months while I decided what I wanted to do with it since we bought this home and don't have to move like we did in the rental we had for 5 years. The Africans sure add some color to the tank and the sand, well, I am VERY PLEASED with the way it looks...

That might be a disaster for acrylic

what kind of oil ? cooking or spray ? your tank is acrylic isn't it ? how is the oil working ?

That aquarium seaview stuff they sell doesn't say anything about acrylic i don't think, since i don't have the bottle to read it. With acrylic, it is easy to ruin it fast with applications of the wrong thing.

Very nice tank ! i know what you mean about taking pics, I do it in a dark room without a flash and hope the fish will sit still as not to blur plus have the camera on its tripod.

I want to make absolutly sure that none of those things will harm acrylic plexiglass tanks. thanks for that link, wish i knew what the ingredients to that product is.
