yeah my tank has a little metal thing that wedges in the center it will help support the plexi.. all else fails i can flip it over and let it sag back into place (much like an old bookshelf)

yeah ive been testing AFTER a pwc, perhaps thats why nothing is showing up.. Ill do another test today, if anything is there Ill let you know.. and yeah Im using the API ones.. I shake the crap out of it, then let it sit for 5 mins exactly.. I set timers for each test that requires a timer...

not that I know of.... can you buy individual test chemical bottles? I can try to get another Nitrate test chemical and see if something new happens.. *shrug*

yeah and most of the stick on ones take the temperature of the glass and not so much of the water IN the tank.. the floating thermometers (heck even the ones with a suction cup) are perfect for the job
