How are the RCS in there doing now that you're stocked with fish? I see at least one in the picture.

Tank lights on for three days!

I had success with a 3-4 day blackout of the tank. I'd say 80% of the algae died off, and the remaining disappeared over the next couple weeks.

    CO2 Reactor

I use an inline reactor for CO2, works great. Its hooked up on the inline to my XP2 filter. Check out the DIY forum and look for Sparky's thread about inline CO2 reactors. EDIT: Here's the link, http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/f20/diy-line-co2-reactor-93486.html

    cory tank

    For 15 - 20 cories...hummm, a 20L is probably on the small side. I'd look for at least a 30L or so.

Looking good. What about lowering the lights a bit more so you don't have as much leaking over the side? I'm anxious to see it with the black.

Looks good, I'm anxious to see how the substrate looks. I love the Discus and German Ram tank at my LFS. Its a cool combo and both look awesome in a planted tank. I still like the idea of a tank with 400 neons though. :)

How fast do you go through CO2?

My 5lb CO2 tank lasts for over a year on my 20g planted tank.

Looking for Opinions on 28g Cube

Thanks for the opinions, now I just have to talk myself into blowing my whole tax refund on this tank. One more question, the hood doesn't come with any actinic lighting? I'm thinking it may be possible to install one or two CF actinics in the hood, is this worth anything or a waste?

Looking for Opinions on 28g Cube

Hello Folks, I've been doing Freshwater for about a year now, and I'm starting to get the SW bug. I'd like to start with something small to get the hang of SW, and then invest in a pretty good size setup in a couple years. I'm still doing my initial research, but so far I like (trying to...

    Old Substrate Syndrome?

Hi guys, its been a while since I've been on here, so I hope you can forgive me and help me out. I've had my tank setup for about a year now, been doing high tech planted, pressurized co2, 3-4WPG, EI dosing. The tank has 40lbs of Eco-Complete in it. My question is this: is there any benefit...
