Hello, Thanks for responding. Well from March to when I added fish in May, I pretty much just checked the water chemistry month as well as 20% water changes monthly. Numbers between this time were averaging 0 ammonia and nitrites. Nitrates we're no higher than .5ppm. Late July is when the algae...- Bigeasy 125
