floor boards
Pulled up the carpet and check underneath. Under the fireproofing are what could have been a wood floor :roll: The boards run front to back and the tank would also go lengthwise front to back. I am guessing the joists would crisscross the boards so there would be 4-5 supports...

overstocking?
I wouldn't add all of the fish at once because the ammonia/stress will hurt them. You can try the humane fishless cycle listed on the website or introduce a few fish at a time to help cushion the ammonia spikes until the tank cycles. I would probably go with the docile fish first...
:twisted: A friend just gave me an older 125g tank. I have two questions. Does anyone suggest i scrap off the visible silicone and apply a new seal to the outside(outside of the inside of the tank that is)?
